Journey of Life Photographer

As soon as I was given my first camera, I was amazed at the quality of the images it produced! I took pictures of everything but I particularly enjoyed capturing nature. I loved to take pictures of landscapes and animals but also enjoyed capturing unique and beautiful moments. I saved some money and graduated to a better camera, my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. I did the usual children’s portraits, weddings, birthday parties and other special events, but I began to specialize in architecture, landscapes and animals. I have recently bought a Canon Mirrorless R5s. I am excited to discover the world of mirrorless cameras!

After receiving my certificate from the New York Institute of Photography, I started to transform my photography from a hobby into a small business. I integrated the skills I learned from my classes and mentoring with other photographers.

I feel that I am now ready to share my skills and pictures with others and to advance into a more serious photographer and artist!

Achievements:

In 2012, I submitted a photograph to the "Art of the State" program. From the over 1,834 entries, my photo was one of only 129 pieces selected for display in the State Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. "Icicles" was sold during the Gallery Walk.
In 2008, while attending the New York Institute of Photography, one of my photographs earned a Dean's Merit Award.
One of my photos was chosen as an 'Honorable Mention' and was featured on a Members 1st calendar in 2013.
