The vibrant colors of Yellowstone's hot springs are not merely a visual delight; they are the result of complex interactions between geothermal heat and microscopic life. The springs are heated by the park's underlying volcanic activity, creating an environment that supports unique thermophilic microorganisms. These microorganisms thrive in extreme temperatures and contribute to the variety of colors seen in the hot springs.

Never burn a candle for longer than three hours, cool for at least two hours before relighting. Never leave a candle unattended, keep it away from anything that can catch fire. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Don't burn a candle all the way down. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, it's the safest way to prevent wax from splattering.
